When used in a vehicle the gps tracking system will need to have a way to connect with the satellites. It cannot be surrounded by metal on more than 2 sides. So it will not work in the trunk. You may be able to place it in the glove compartment , under the seat or even in a map pocket. You may need to try several locations before you get a reliable report. When used on a person you can use the LOCATE NOW to get a current position. The mini tracker is very small , small enough to go un-noticed in a bag or purse in some cases. Other personnel uses are executive protection and child location. You can even use the mini tracker on tools, trailers machinery and multiple other objects , anything you need tracked. The battery life is 10 hours while in motion and can standby for a few weeks if need be. Also available as an extra accessory is an extended battery and weather proof case. The extended battery will allow for up to 60 hours. How ever you decide to use the mini tracker you will have an array of modern usable features to choose from. Address reports, stop reports ( great for employee time card verification) battery reports and geo-fencing. (Geo Fence lets you choose a pre-determined area and when the device  leave the area you will get a text message letting you know. No software to install to track on your PC.
