This ID-camera is an ID card verification camera; an age verification camera that interfaces with new or existing CCTV systems (monitors, multiplexers, digital recorders, and time lapse recorders) to capture a picture of the customer and a full resolution picture of their ID card (Drivers License.) This ID verification camera produces a clear color picture, for ID card checking; and, is compatible with  any video surveillance system. 

This identification card verification system provides the drivers license verification recorded with a picture of the customer. You'll have hard evidence relating to fraud and identification card falsification. It is proving to be an inexpensive tool for age checking and recovering stolen merchandise. 

This ID-camera works in the following applications:

• In car and equipment rental businesses as a drivers license camera for video ID checking.
• In restaurants and nightclubs, as an age checking camera, as part of the bar equipment, and part of the restaurant equipment.
• In check cashing applications, in banks, grocery stores, and check cashing businesses,  it is used with the Closed Circuit Television system, as an ID checking camera. It is used to deter crime and to provide evidence for check fraud.
• In convenience stores it is used as an age identification camera. It will be used for drivers license verification and under age checking.

Unlike magnetic stripe readers this ID-camera helps to provide the police with a picture of the perpetrator linked to a picture of the drivers license.

This ID-camera can be mounted on any flat or vertical surface. People who check ID cards find the system easy to operate. When an ID card is inserted this age verification camera automatically switches the picture from an external camera to the full resolution picture of the card and sends that video, automatically to the multiplexer or recorder. ID cards are recorded automatically with minimum inconvenience to employees or legitimate customers.

Two versions of the ID Camera are available:

Model #1 for use in establishments with larger systems (No camera switching)

Optional Model #2 for use in systems where a single camera is needed to capture pictures of the customer making the transaction (Switches camera scenes.)
