other GPS devices would be unable to send data. Using cell phone
technology makes this an excellent asset tracker as well and a child or
elderly GPS locator. Just login to the website 24 hours a day and get
the device location right now. The GPS control panel online allows you
to program the website to automatically locate the GPS device, from
every 2 minutes up to 1 time a day! You can easily find the previous
locations and exact real time locations on the map.
The three red and blue locators show the position of the device inside
at the car and driving away, all in the course of a few minutes. This is
an actual screen shot from the software. If you were logged in you could
click on each marker and see the address for the location.
When you logon to the website
and request a location on the GPS device. It attempts to triangulate it
position from up to 24 GPS satellites. If it is unable to obtain a
location from satellite signals, it instantly changes over to cell tower
triangulation. It will then automatically determine its position by
triangulation with area cell towers. After the device has positioned
itself it send the data back to the GPS control panel on the website.
The entire process takes only seconds. This process is included in the
monthly fee there is now extra charge for GPS or Cell Tower location.

website you will have access to high resolution maps from Google
™ and Maps Live
™. With the modern choices of
satellite , standard , hybrid and birds eye view map views, in many
cases you can see the building at the location of the GPS.
Depending on the monthly plan you choose you can locate (PING) the
tracker a certain number of times. Each time you locate the
vehicle its 1 PING. In the control panel you have the option of setting
the device to PING automatically every minute every few minutes every
1/2 hour every hour and so on. You can change the frequency any time and
you can choose to just manually locate the device any time.
